Nadia Ambrosetti

is currently seconded teacher at Ufficio Scolastico di Milano, former Full Professor of Italian and Latin Literature at Liceo Scientifico e Linguistico Statale “G. Marconi” in Milano and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science, at the Università degli Studi di Milano and at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano (the latter until 2011). She obtained a M.A. (1987) in Modern Literature from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano; later she obtained a B.S. (2004) in Digital Communication, a M.S. (2006) in Information and Communication Technologies, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2011) from Università degli Studi di Milano. In 2021 she became information engineer at Università Federico II in Naples.

She is member of Società Italiana di Storia delle Matematiche, Société Française d’Histoire des Sciences et des Techniques, ACM, IEEE, ESHS, GRIn.

She has authored four books and several articles on the history of computing, protohistory of computer science, and didactics of computer science.
